Meet the villain of Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai

Director Bala has a knack for picking villains for his films. If it was the fiery Rajendran in Naan Kadavul, he chose a rustic RK for his Avan Ivan and now for his upcoming Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer Thaarai Thappattai, he seems to have chosen RK Suresh, the managing director of Studio 9 Productions to essay the role. Suresh has also confirmed the news on his official Facebook page.

Bala has retained his technical team of Paradesi which includes national award-wining costume designer Poornima, Editor Kishore Te and lensman Cheziyan. This film also marks Bala’s tryst with digital film-making for the first time in his career. Thaaarai Thappattai is a film which revolves around Karagaattam, a traditional dance form of Tamils.
