Remo title rumors denied

A sudden rumor cropped up in the Twitter space regarding the title of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming release, Remo. It was said that Remo was actually the short form of ‘Renganathan Engira Mohana’ thereby making the film eligible for tax exemption in the state. There was a similar case last year with Masss being ‘Mass Engira Maasilamani’.

But this was soon officially denied, with the producers of the film, 24 AM Studios, stating that Remo is a proper character name by itself and that it doesn’t have any other meaning. Currently, Remo’s dubbing is underway in full swing and the censor copy of the film will be readied soon.
