Rekka firms up October 7th release

The next hotshot release date in K’town in October 7th – the extended weekend of Ayudha Pooja holidays. Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo and the Jiiva, Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Simha, Sunainaa-starrer Kavalai Vendam have been already confirmed to hit screens on October 7th. Now, the makers of Rekka have also firmed up the release date as October 7th, according to a source. Prabhudeva-Tamannah’s horror comedy Devi(L) is also eyeing for October 7th release.

Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles, Rekka team recently completed a song shoot in Bangkok. The TN theatrical rights for the film have been reportedly acquired for a good sum by Sivabalan Pictures. The movie is directed by Rathina Shiva of Vaa Deal fame and produced by Ganesh of Comman Man Presents.
