The latest addition to the list of celebrities who have showered praise on 2016’s most promising debutant director Karthick Naren is none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay. After watching the film (Dhuruvangal 16), Vijay called up Karthick Naren and appreciated his effort.
An elated Naren took to his Facebook page and said: “Brilliant job man. Really liked the way you treated the emotions. Best wishes for your future”, just received this call from ‘Ilayathalapathy Vijay’ sir. I have never stuttered so much while talking to someone on the phone.” [SIC]
Naren is currently busy finalizing the cast of his sophomore feature Naragasooran, which is the second installment of the thriller trilogy that he is planning to make.
