Rana Daggubati talks about the title ‘Naan Aanaiyittal’

After super successful Ghazi and Baahubali, Rana Daggubati is set for his next Tamil film Naan Aanaiyittal where he plays the role of Jogendra.Rana revealed, “The Tamil film title is inspired by a super hit song from the timeless matinee-idol and charismatic leader MGR’s blockbuster film “Enga Veettu Pillai”, a remake of ‘Ramudu Bheemudu’ the first movie produced by my grandfather – movie mogul D. Rama Naidu in 1964. It’s very special for me as it brings memoirs of 2 of the greatest icons of the film industry who continue to inspire me.”Shot in the beautiful locales of Karaikudi and in other parts of South India ‘Naan Aanaiyittal’ is a film about its hero Jogendra’s laden attitude and his intriguing thought provoking character played by Rana Daggubati. Besides Nassar’s pivotal role, the movie brings together a line-up of highly popular actors Kajal Aggarwal, Catherine Tresa, Navadeep and Ashutosh Rana.
