Madai Thiranthu, which will be directed by Sathyasiva of Kazhugu fame, will go on floors from August 19th in Kochi. Tipped to be a period drama set in 1940s, the film, which stars Rana Daggubati and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles, revolves around renowned freedom fighter Subash Chandra Bose and his involvement in Indian independence.
The movie is being made as a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu. Produced by S N Rajarajan of K Productions, Madai Thiranthu is titled 1945 in Telugu. Yuvan Shankar Raja has been confirmed to score music for the project. Nassar and Karunas will be seen in pivotal roles.
