Rana Daggubati and Sri Divya on board ‘Bangalore Days’ remake

After Samantha and Siddharth cleared the air about their non-involvement in the much-awaited remake of the Malayalam film Bangalore Days, speculations have been rife about the likely replacements for the duo. The latest update is Rana Daggubati, who was last seen in Ajith’s Arrambam and Sri Divya, have been roped in to replace Siddharth and Samantha. Sources confirm us that Rana and Sri Divya will reprise the roles played by Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya in the original.

The film also has Arya, Nithya Menen and Bobby Simha in important roles. While Arya is likely to reprise Dulquer’s role, Simha will play the role essayed by Nivin Pauly in the original. Produced by PVP Cinema and directed by Baskar of Bommarilu (Santhosh Subramaniyam) fame, this yet-untitled flick will go on the floors in mid-March. The team is planning to shoot major portions of the film in Singapore.
