Rajiv Menon prepares 125-minute Tamil version for GV Prakash’s Sarvam Thaala Mayam

Cinematographer-director Rajiv Menon has prepared a 125-minute Tamil version of GV Prakash’s Sarvam Thaala Mayam, which is currently under the post-production phase.

According to Screen International, the film will also have an international version with a 111-minute runtime. The movie story revolves around a boy from a Dalit family aspiring to become a drummer in the South Indian Carnatic classical tradition.

“The film is a musical with a strong sense of realism and a story of hope where a young person from the outside overcomes odds to succeed in a rarefied world of classical Indian music,” SI quoted Rajiv Menon.

Paris-based production house Ghosts City has joined Rajiv Menon’s Mindscreen Cinemas as the film’s co-producer.
