Rajinikanth’s Kaala leads Chennai weekend box-office with Rs 6.64 Cr gross

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala topped the Chennai weekend box-office by a huge margin. The film, in its four-day run, has grossed nearly Rs 6.64 crores in the opening weekend.

The Sunday gross of Rs 1.74 crores is almost equal to the opening day earnings of Rs 1.76 crores, which shows that the film witnessed an excellent hold over the weekend. The litmus test for the film begins from today everywhere, as the weekdays begin.

Over the weekend, Kaala received good response from women and kids, who have begun to throng theaters in good numbers.
