Rajinikanth’s first call after getting treated from Singapore

You would be surprised to know who Rajinikanth made his first call to after getting treated and coming back from Singapore. Coincidentally, when Rajinikanth was admitted to the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore four years back, his long-standing associate Jayaraman also fell ill. “I have been with him for 24 years. Those are unforgettable days. Since he got to know that I was also unwell during his treatment time in Singapore, he immediately landed and called me first. I was in tears the moment he called me and asked me to visit. I was dumb-founded. He was also in tears after he saw me. His blessings will be always there for me,” says Jayaraman.

Jayaraman has plunged into film production now with Kirumi under his banner JPR Productions. It is directed by Anucharan and stars Kathir of Madhayaanai Koottam fame and Reshmi Menon in the lead roles. The film, presented by Escape Artists Motion Pictures, is set for release on September 24th.

“Do well. Make films according to the taste of this generation. Spend money carefully,” advised Rajinikanth to Jayaraman.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s Kabali first look featuring Super Star himself is expected to release on this Thursday, Sep 17th.
