Rajinikanth to travel Hong Kong, Macau and France for Lingaa opening song

Rajinikanth will be travelling abroad to shoot the opening song of Lingaa directed by KS Ravikumar. This is the first time an opening song in a Rajinikanth film is being shot outside India. There are only two songs left to be shot in Lingaa. Apart from the opening song which will be shot in Hong Kong, Macau and France, another song, a duet, featuring Rajinikanth and Sonakshi Sinha will be shot in Hyderabad this week. The opening song will be shot after Diwali, says a source.

AR Rahman is said to have composed a peppy dance number for Rajinikanth’s intro number and he will be flying abroad during the last week of October for the song shoot. The film’s audio is likely to be released around Diwali or November. Lingaa is slated for release on December 12th,  2014 to coincide with Rajinikanth’s birthday.
