Rajinikanth stuns Lingaa team; spectacular train sequence shot
Rajinikanth’s Lingaa has been progressing at a brisk speed. Speculations are already rife that the team is looking forward to release the film for Diwali. The team recently mounted a spectacular set in Ramoji Rao film city and shot risky action sequences with the help of Hollywood stuntman Lee Whittaker last week. “A set was erected and one of the best action sequences ever shot in the country has been canned for this film. The entire action sequence has been canned on a moving train and Rajini sir did most of the stunts himself,” says a source.
Rajinikanth’s decision to do stunts on his own without using a dupe has apparently stunned the Lingaa crew and everyone looked upon him in awe. Dev Singh Gill who played protagonist in Magadheera and Sura has joined the team. He will share screen space with superstar in the pre-independence portions of the film. “I have worked with several legends across the country. But working with Rajinikanth has changed me. I’ve learnt from him how important it is for one human to understand another. He is so grounded and simple,” says Dev Singh on Thalaivar.
