Rajinikanth responds to Karnataka fringe groups for banning his upcoming films

Superstar Rajinikanth, who voiced his opinions strongly yesterday on the Cauvery protest issue, responded to a question posed by a journalist about the release of his upcoming films in Karnataka.

“If they ban my films in Karnataka, my producers and their state government will look into it,” said Rajinikanth. A flurry of fringe groups in Karnataka has sought for a ban on Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s upcoming releases in the state since they have censured the state government’s callous attitude in forming the Cauvery Management Board.
