Villagers hamper Rajinikanth’s Lingaa shoot

The shooting for Lingaa is currently underway near a village in Hyderabad. It came to a standstill on Wednesday when inhabitants claimed the crew were mixing hazardous chemicals in the lake situated nearby. This unfortunate incident happened when the team was filming some important sequences in Anajpur, Ranga Reddy district. A source reveals the villagers gathered together and demanded money from the crew.

“When the unit refused to cough up cash, they tried to stop the shooting. These are the same guys who had earlier tried to stop Prabhas and Rajamouli during Baahubali’s shoot, a few months ago.We had taken all permissions from the irrigation department and produced the documents to the villagers. It was about money,” says a crew member. The team immediately shifted the shoot to Ramoji Film City without any further delay.
