Rajinikanth doesn’t want to discuss politics
Rajinikanth, who has always kept his political ambitions drifting, has said he doesn’t want to discuss politics in his brief interview to a national channel upon arriving at Panjim last night to receive the Centenary Award for Personality of the Year in the 45th International Film Festival of India. Even at the audio launch of Lingaa which was held few days back, he said he was not afraid of politics but only hesitant and uttered his most frequent anecdote ‘if god is willing, he will serve the people’ in style.
“No politics, please. Actually, I don’t want to talk anything about politics now” was his answer when a reporter asked him about joining politics. Rajinikanth will receive the award from his friend and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in the opening ceremony today evening.
