Rajinikanth agrees to compensate distributors for Lingaa loss
After much hullaballoo from a section of distributors and theatre owners, Rajinikanth and Rockline Venkatesh, the producer of Lingaa, have agreed to compensate distributors and theater owners for their losses. Trichy Sridhar, joint secretary of Tamil Nadu Theater Owners Association, has confirmed the news to a daily. Popular distributor Tirupur Subramaniam has been personally asked by Rajinikanth to look into the issue immediately regarding settlement and resolve it soon.
All distributors and theater owners have been asked to submit a copy of film’s collection statement which will be overseen and corroborated by Tirupur Subramaniam and settlements will be made accordingly.
