“Rajini sir called me during the shooting of Sarkar,” reveals AR Murugadoss
Talking about the origin of Darbar, AR Murugadoss has revealed in a recent interaction that Superstar called him for a meeting during the shooting of Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar.
“He liked the one-liner I narrated. Then, I immediately corrected the changes he suggested and met him the next day. In one month’s time, he gave a full green signal to the project. That’s how Darbar materialized. He said he has never done a film in this pattern. It will be a racy mass commercial film. Aaditya Arunasalam IPS (Maharashtra Police) will be a robust action cop like Alex Pandian,” said Murugadoss.
Produced by Lyca, Darbar also features Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the lead heroine. Anirudh Ravichander composes the music for the film, which is slated for Pongal 2020 release. Motion Poster of Darbar with the Theme Music of Thalaivar, will be out November 7th, revealed Anirudh.
