Rajini Murugan slated for release in June
Originally set to release on May 1st, Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan has now been postponed to June to make way for Suriya’s supernatural thriller Masss. The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for both films have been acquired by Studio Green. Producer Gnanavel Raja has confirmed in a recent interview that they are planning to release Rajini Murugan on June 12th and, Masss and Baahubali on May 1st and May 22nd respectively.
Directed by Ponram and produced by Thirupathi Brothers, Rajini Murugan features Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles. While Soori plays Siva’s sidekick, Samuthirakani plays the baddie. Rajkiran essays the role of Siva’s grandfather.
