Director Atlee reveals more about his film
Marked as the most promising of the young directors in the arena, director Atlee of ‘Raja rani ‘ has opened up on the project finally!!! The speculations on the script was followed by the most path breaking promotion of the ‘Arya -Nayanthara’ wedding card and the subsequent innovative teaser !!! The interest this project generated was on par with the expectations of the movies from some of the biggest super stars.
The director reveals more on himself and the project:- “My film will be an out and out family entertainer , and it displays the sweet part of life after marriage , i hope it changes the opinions of today’s youngsters on the concept of marriage. Arya and Nayanthara play the married pair to perfection. I really thank them for the understanding and cooperation that was meted outduring our teaser launch .
I want to present a feel good, romantic musical comedy, which will be loved by youngsters as well as family audiences. Iam glad to be introduced as Shankar sir’s assistant and we share a father and son relationship and i also thank Murugadoss sir for the confidence he had installed on me by choosing my script at the first instance itself . It is a pride for me to be directing a film for Fox Star studios. I am also really proud of my team- D O P George C Williams, Music composer G V Prakash, are the pillars of this project .The stellar casting of this film will tell you how big this movie is- Arya, Jai , Santhanam , Sathyaraj , Sathyan , Nayanthara , and the latest sensation Nazriya Nazim form the formidable lineup”
Raja Rani will have a high profile audio launch in August, while the film will release in September this year.
