Pushpa 2 breaks all the records, becomes highest Indian opener of all time!
The record for the highest Indian opener of all time has been breached again as Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has broken the current record and has turned out become the first 250+ crore grosser (294 GROSS) on day one in Indian film history. The film has opened with a day one domestic collection of 200 crore – with record breaking numbers in Telugu (over 90 crore gross), 80+ crores gross in North India, TN contributing 10+ crores, Kerala bringing in 6+ crores, 16+ crores in Karnataka and 65+ crores in the reported overseas!
The film has successfully beat Jawan in the Hindi circuit to become the biggest Hindi day one opener of all time, while also delivering the staggering fact of booking 100K tickets per hour on Book My Show, which is the highest number until now.
The 1000 crore number looks like an easy cakewalk for the film, as it should do it within 7 days itself, going by the numbers it is producing now. A massive start for the film indeed.
In TN, Pushpa 2 becomes the #7 best opener (Day 1) of the year standing behind GOAT, Vettaiyan, Amaran, Indian 2, Thangalaan and Raayan.
