Punch dialogues galore in Vijay Sethupathi’s Rekka
Director Rathina Shiva has said that Vijay Sethupathi has mouthed several realistic, simple punchlines in Rekka, which is touted to be the latter’s first full-fledged ‘mass’ masala outing. The film, which is slated to hit screens on October 7th for the six-day Ayudha Pooja weekend, is set against the backdrop of Madurai and Kumbakonam.
While Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of a lawyer in the film, Lakshmi Menon will be seen as a college girl. Produced by Comman Man Presents, Rekka is being presented by Sivabalan Pictures in Tamil Nadu. KS Ravikumar, Sathish and Harish Uthaman form the supporting cast. Kabir Singh of Vedalam fame plays the baddie.
