Puli gets second biggest opening after I

Vijay’s Puli has received the second biggest Kollywood opening after Shankar’s I at the box office. The film has approximately grossed Rs. 64 crores at the worldwide box office despite critics and viewers panned it.

The movie has collected more than Rs. 30 crores in Tamil Nadu alone and this week will be crucial in deciding its fate at the box office. The delayed release has definitely caused the makers and distributors a substantial loss as far as overseas release is concerned.
