Priyanka Chopra’s cousin makes her debut in K’town

It’s been twelve years since Priyanka Chopra made her debut in Kollywood opposite Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay in the film Thamizhan after winning her Miss World title in 2000. That was her first and last film in Tamil. Cut to 2014, Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Barbie Handa makes her debut in K’town in the film ‘Neeyellam Nalla Varuvada’. She has been roped in by the team to shake a leg for a song with Vemal who plays the lead role.

The film deals about the local crimes in the Chennai city. Director Nagedran says, “Yes, Barbie Handa has danced to a birthday number in my film. We wanted a person with a refreshing attitude and found her to be perfect.” The film also has Samuthirakani playing an important role.
