Priya debuts as heroine in ‘Soan Papadi’

Director Atlee’s bride, Priya debuts as a heroine in Soan Papadi directed by Shivani. The film is said to be a crime thriller with a sweet twist in the climax. Priya is known for her roles in Naan Mahaan Alla, where she played Karthi’s sister and Singham, where she played Anushka’s sister. Priya finished this film before her marriage. Soan Papadi is currently under post-production and the makers are planning to release it by the end of January.

Soan Papadi has Sree of Vazhakku En 18/9 and Onayum Aattukkuttiyum fame in the lead role. “Sree was seen in dark shades in his previous films. But here, he’s undergone a makeover and is a stylish and lively middle-class boy, who is an IT engineer. Priya debuts as heroine and plays a working woman,” says Shivani.
