Prakash Raj joins Mani Ratnam’s next!

Prakash Raj is the first high-profile addition to Mani Ratnam’s next yet-untitled film which went on floors yesterday in Chennai. This film marks Prakash Raj’s fourth collaboration with Mani Ratnam. He was first seen in a brief appearance in Bombay as a policeman. Later, his second rendezvous with Mani Ratnam came in Iruvar, considered by many as Mani’s best film. Prakash Raj’s performance as Thamizhselvan in Iruvar fetched him National Award for the Best Supportin Actor.

Now, the actor has signed on the dotted line for Mani Ratnam’s next film which has Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in lead roles. The film is said to be a romantic tale and it also marks the coming together of ace cinematographer PC Sreeram and Mani Ratnam after Alaipayuthey. “Super super charged up to be a part of mani rathnam s new film. Loved the script n the role he narrated to me. Life is richer. Cheers !!!!!,” tweeted Prakash Raj on his official social media page.
