Prabhas pens a nostalgic note on Baahubali: The Beginning

Baahubali has become one of the significant milestones in the Indian film industry. The movie’s first installment saw the light of the day on July 10th, 2015 and emerged to be a life-changing thing for the actors, technical crew, and cast involved in the project.

Prabhas, who dedicated a long time to work on the franchise, took to his Facebook page and pens a nostalgic note on the film’s second anniversary yesterday.

Today marks the completion of two years to the release of a very special film of mine, Baahubali: The Beginning. I feel a deep sense of nostalgia and I have been reminiscing the early days when the entire team was working on this film with so much passion. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all my fans who don’t leave any chance to make me feel so loved and special. Congratulations to the entire Baahubali team for this day, especially the man behind all of it, SS Rajamouli. We owe it all to you,” posted Prabhas on his Facebook page.

Prabhas is currently busy shooting for his sci-fi thriller Saaho directed by Sujeeth of Run Raja Run fame. The movie is being made as a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi since Baahubali’s success has created a sizeable market for Prabhas across the length and breadth of the nation. Neil Nitin Mukesh, who debuted as a baddie in AR Murugadoss – Vijay’s Kaththi, has been roped in to play the antagonist in the movie, which will have music composed by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad has been signed to take care of the editing work. Produced by UV Creations, R. Madhi is cranking the camera for the movie, which features high-end, stylish action sequences.
