The latest news coming in from the camp of SS Rajamouli’s RRR is that the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been sold to the OTT platform Zee5, for a massive price of 325 crores. All the Indian languages of the film are going to Zee5 in an exclusive deal, which is a record-breaking one till date in the history of cinema.
RRR is scheduled to release worldwide in theatres, on the 13th of October. The film has Jr NTR and Ram Charan playing the leads, with Ajay Devgn having an extended cameo appearance. Alia Bhatt plays the female lead.
