Pooja Kumar talks about her role in Uttama Villain

Pooja Kumar, who plays a pivotal role in Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Uttama Villain, has opened up about her character. She plays a non-Tamil-speaking modern-day actress, who speaks chaste Tamil. “I play a character from a different era. The role also gave me an opportunity to do three different dance set-pieces — a commercial number, another one set in an earlier period and then, a dance choreography as part of a stage play. It was challenging to do all these in a single film,” says Pooja Kumar.

Produced by Thirupathi Brothers and released by Eros International, Uttama Villain is directed by Ramesh Aravind. It has music by Ghibran. The audio launch is scheduled on March 1st and the film is slated for release on April 2nd.
