‘Mugamoodi’ fame Pooja Hegde to star opposite Hrithik Roshan

Mugamoodi fame Pooja Hegde has been roped to play the lead role in Hrithik Roshan’s next titled “Mohenja Daro.” She was also the runner up of Miss Universe 2010 and apparently grabbed the attention of director Ashutosh Gowariker that he feels she is the apt choice to star opposite Hrithik in the film.

“I’m extremely happy to have found Pooja Hegde. She is very natural as an actress and has an elegance and poise that will make the character attractive and endearing. Both these strengths with a degree of freshness add the required spark to the Mohenjo Daro love story,” says director Ashutosh of Lagaan, Swades and Jodhaa Akbar fame. However, Mugamoodi remains the only Tamil film for Pooja Hegde and she has not signed on the dotted line for any film since.
