Ponniyin Selvan: Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus resumes shoot in Pondicherry

According to the latest reports in the industry, ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam has just resumed the shoot for his biggie Ponniyin Selvan, in Pondicherry. While Jayam Ravi will be joining the team soon, Karthi and Chiyaan Vikram will be slotting their schedules as they shuffle between their solo projects in Sardar and Chiyaan60 respectively.

Mani Ratnam has planned to complete the shoot of the two-parter by the end of this year, and will be releasing the first part in the summer of 2022. The film is jointly produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
