Ponniyin Selvan is 70% complete – Karthi gives out exciting updates
During a live chat to promote his film Sulthan which is now running in theatres, actor Karthi dropped some interesting updates about the Mani Ratnam-directed biggie Ponniyin Selvan, for which he is now shooting for. The actor said “70% of the film’s shoot is complete. The COVID19 surge has delayed the progress of the film, but we hope that it will be ready for a theatrical release for Pongal/Sankranthi next year.”
Ponniyin Selvan has a huge star cast that consists of Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Jayaram, Sharath Kumar, Rahman and others. The music for the film is composed by AR Rahman.
