Ponniyin Selvan – First part to hit the screens in summer of 2022

Mani Ratnam and Lyca Productions have just dropped a new poster of Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1, which will be hitting the screens in 2022. With this, the team have confirmed that the film would be released in two parts, with the first one set for a showdown in the summer months of next year.

The team is now camping in Pondicherry for another long schedule which will include many big actors who are involved in the film. Mani Ratnam hopes to wrap up the entire shoot within the next two months, and then move completely into the post production process.
