Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan has truly broken records everywhere, with the film hitting the 125 crore in Tamil Nadu over a span of just 6 days. The film has done rapid collections in the state with bookings looking solid for the entire weekend. Ponniyin Selvan has raked in big numbers in not just the cities, but in the rural centres and small pockets too.
The film has crossed the 300 crore club worldwide, and has joined five other films in Enthiran, 2.0, Kabali, Bigil and Vikram in the coveted club. The film has rocked in overseas centres with smashing collections in the US, UK, UAE and many other centres.
