After Sun Pictures put out a shocking tweet stating that police had reached AR Murugadoss’ home to arrest him over the Sarkar row, the Kaththi filmmaker confirmed that they banged the door several times.

However, Murugadoss was not present at his residence when the police arrived.
After enquiring about A.R.Murugadoss’ whereabouts police have left his residence since he was not there.

Although police officials clarify that there’s no FIR filed against Murugadoss and that they had no plans of arrest, Murugadoss’ tweet showed a different picture.
Police had come to my house late tonight and banged the door several times.Since I was not there they left the premises. Right now I was told there is no police outside my house.

Police officials also claimed that it was regular police patrol that was checking Murugadoss’ residence to see if there is enough protection for the filmmaker.
ADMK workers are up in arms since yesterday seeking the removal of the controversial scene, which shows AR Murugadoss setting ablaze the freebies distributed by the state government in the film.
