Amazon Prime Video’s direct-to-streaming film, Penguin, streams worldwide today on 19th June, 2020.
Penguin, the spine-chilling crime thriller makes its global premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and is the third of the seven Indian films in five languages to do so. The film revolves around a pregnant mother who sets out on a dangerous and physically demanding journey to unravel a mystery from her past and save her loved ones. Produced by Stone Bench Films, Penguin stars National Film Award winner Keerthy Suresh.
Penguin is produced by Karthik Subbaraj (Jigarthanda) and marks the directorial debut of Eashvar Karthic. From 19th June, Prime members in India and in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide can watch the much-awaited movie in Tamil, Telugu and with Malayalam dubbing.
Directed by Eashvar Karthic, the film follows the story of Rhythm, leading a happy life and about to have her second child, is now traumatized by the nightmares in which she sees an umbrella man harming her lost son. She sets off on a dangerous journey, along with her trained dog, to unravel the secrets behind the nightmares and to protect her loved ones.
