Parvathi Menon doesn’t mind acting in intimate scenes

Parvathi Menon, who was last seen in Dhanush’s Mariyaan, says she doesn’t mind doing intimate scenes unless it is shot in a tasteful way. Her performance in Mariyaan was highly celebrated by critics, but sadly awards functions and organizers overlooked her comfortably. “I can’t do intimate scenes, for the sake of doing it. If a bold scene is integral part of the script and it is aesthetically shot, I have no qualms doing it. I believe any scene can be made vulgar or decent; it all depends on how they are shot,” says Parvathi Menon to a daily.

She is currently awaiting the release of Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain directed by Ramesh Aravind. Parvathi Menon plays an important role in the film which has a bevy of female leads including Parvathi Nair, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah. However, she hasn’t signed any new films in Tamil yet.
