Parthipan’s role in Vetrimaaran – Dhanush’s next

It was reported earlier that the effortless actor Parthipan has been roped in to play a significant role in Dhanush and Vetrimaaran’s yet-to-titled project. Now,the actor himself has confirmed that he is indeed playing a crucial part in the much awaited flick. “I’m glad to be on board for a film being made by the successful combo. I’m playing a positive character, a full-fledged role. However, it is too early to divulge the details of my character,” said the actor in an interview to a daily.

Pasupathy and Kay Kay Menon who played the stern policeman in Udhayam NH4 are also part of the cast. The film will be produced by Dhanush’s home banner Wunderbar Films and marks the third consecutive collaboration between Dhanush and Vetrimaaran, one of the most successful partnerships in contemporary Tamil cinema.
