Parthiepan’s KTVI to release on August 29th

Originally set to release on August 1st, R. Parthiepan’s Kadhai Thiraikadai Vasanam Iyakam has been postponed to August 29th now. Featuring an array of celebrities includinng Arya, Vishal, Vijay Sethupathi, Amala Paul, Taapsee, Bharath, Shantanu, Srikanth, Vemal, Iniya, Aishwarya, Prakash Raj and Cheran, KTVI is touted to be a film without any story. “KTVI is postponed to make way for Jigarthanda and Sarabham. This kind of adjusting attitude is much-needed in Tamil cinema now. I hope  other producers understand this and give precedence to our film on Aug 29th,” says Parthiepan.

“There’s no particular story. There’s this young couple; the hero is an aspiring director. How does he germinate an idea, work on the screenplay, come up with a good script and seek support for making a film? When a person goes to a theatre and watches a film, does he realise the amount of work that has gone into every stage of making the film? That in itself is a story I will depict in KTVI, in my style,” says Parthiepan about his film to a daily.
