Pa. Ranjith to direct Rajinikanth next?

There were reports since yesterday night that director Pa. Ranjith of Attakathi and Madras fame has been finalized by Rajinikanth to direct his next project. Bankable sources suggest that Kalaipuli S. Thanu will produce the film under his banner V Creations.

Actor Dinesh, who made his debut in Ranjith’s Attakathi, confirmed the news on his official social media page. “Blessings of God.. ‪#‎Ranjith‬ sir doing Movie with ‪#‎Rajini‬ sir.. Its Confirmed  Kalakkunga Sir,” he posted.

However, Rajinikanth’s official PRO denies any confirmation on the project. Talks are on with many directors and nothing is confirmed yet, he says. Will Rajinikanth join hands with a relatively new-comer like Ranjith who is just two films old? Keep your fingers crossed!
