Pa Ranjith gives away the roles of lead characters in Kabali

Director Pa Ranjith has revealed the roles played by his lead characters in Rajinikanth’s Kabali, which is currently under the post production stage.

Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth has delivered a realistic performance in the film. Kabali is a man of self-confidence who is equally angry. He won’t throw punch dialogues but heart-wrenching, meaningful lines.

Radhika Apte

Radhika Apte is paired opposite Rajinikanth and plays his wife in the movie. She plays Kumudhavalli, a gardener. A song sequence involving Rajinikanth and Radhiika Apte has been shot in Goa.

Dhansika

Dhansika essays the role of a Thailand-based gansgter ‘Yogi’ who challenges Rajinikanth. She has donned a tomboyish makeover in the film.

Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and John Vijay

Dinesh plays the role of a gangster’s son who admires Kabali. Kalaiarasan plays the role of Tamizhkumaran, who heads a school founded by Kabali. John Vijay, who has been hitherto seen in antagonist and comic roles, will play an interesting character ‘Ameer’ as Kabali’s mentor in the film.

Villains

Kishore and Chinese actor Winston Chao play the roles of Rajinikanth’s adversaries in the film.

The dubbing works for the film will begin soon and the team is also all set for the grand audio launch announcement from Kalaipuli S Thanu.
