NPNO – Movie Preview

Be it Vamsam or Mounaguru or Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum or the recently-released Demonte Colony, Arulnithi has proved time and again that his uncanny sense of picking wise scripts is not a one-time factor. Come Friday, Naalu Polisum Nalla Iruntha Oorum, Arul’s first full-blown comedy film will hit the screens and the expectations are fairly food.

The film directed by NJ Srikrishna is loosely inspired from the 1939 English movie Ask a Policeman. The film is jointly produced by 7C’s Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, JSK Film Corporation and Leo Visions who have many hits and critically acclaimed films under their sleeve.

The entire team is upbeat about the film’s ‘entertaining’ factor. While Remya Nambeesan, who plays the female lead, says the film will be a fun-filled entertainer, producer JSK assures that the film will be a sure shot winner in entertaining audiences.

PlotWhat happens when a village which is mostly peaceful gets disturbed by an untoward incident?

It is a fun-filled film with some sensible comedy. A social message is built into the script: that every deed that we attempt has a life of its own and also has an ending

Remya Nambeesan

When director Srikrishna narrated the story to me I was very much impressed with the role and I agreed to play. I was waiting for a role like this for a long time. I was bit scared about acting with Arulnithi who hails from a big cinema family. But, he was so nice to the entire crew. He used to help me with dialogues whenever I got struck in a shot.

The film is all set for release on July 24th. It also has Singam Puli, Bagavathi Perumal, Rajkumar, Venkat and Mahesh in supporting roles.
