Now, American actor-director William Orendorff joins Rajinikanth’s Lingaa

It was just two days back when news broke on the micro-blogging platform that British actress Lauren J. Irwin was part of Rajinikanth’s Lingaa directed by KS Ravikumar. She received a rapturous reception on Twitter by the Thalaivar fans. Now, William Orendorff, a Texas born American director, writer and actor  has been roped in by KS Ravikumar and co for Lingaa. William is known for directing English films such as ‘Proper Villains’ (he also played one of the lead roles) and ‘The Notice.’

Sources say like Lauren, he also plays a significant role in the pre-independence portions of the film. The actor’s schedule is likely to begin in August. “Very excited about being cast in #lingaa with #rajnikanth signed for a few months now just heard shooting in August Much #kollywood love,” posted William on his official Twitter account. When asked about his role in the film, the actor said he cannot disclose any information on his character leaving the fans disappointed. Looks like the captain of the ship, KS Ravikumar is leaving no stone unturned to make Lingaa a grand success.
