No special shows for Bigil and Kaithi for Diwali: Kadambur Raju
Minister of Information and Publicity, Kadambur Raju, has warned theater owners to not screen any early morning special shows for Bigil and Kaithi for Diwali. Meanwhile, the TN government has declared Monday, October 28th as a holiday.
Kadambur Raju has also hinted that if exhibitors give assurance for not selling tickets above capped prices, he might allow special shows for the festival of lights. Distributors are still hoping to get clearance from the ministry either today or tomorrow. Tiruppur Subramaniam has said that theater owners and distributors association will meet the minister in person to request for special shows.
Bigil and Kaithi will take head-on at the box-office on October 25th.
