No postponement for Rajinikanth – Shankar’s 2.0; Jan 25th release on track
Rajinikanth and director Shankar’s 2.0 is progressing towards a January 25th, 2018 release as announced by the team earlier. Yesterday, Akshay Kumar, who plays the antagonist in the film, posted on his Twitter page that his Hindi film Padman directed by R. Balki will release on January 26th for the Republic Day weekend.
A reliable source from Lyca Productions has confirmed us that 2.0 will indeed release on January 25th, 2018 and there are no plans of postponement as of now. Since Lyca is also involved in Rajinikanth’s Kaala, they will first ensure that 2.0 sees the light of day.
