Do not bring gifts to our marriage, says Amala Paul

Director Vijay and Amala Paul’s marriage is the next big thing for the Kollywood paparazzi. As the wedding plans are in full swing, the duo has made a noticeable point in their invitation. They have requested people to not bring gifts and donate to an NGO called Ability Foundation instead.

Ability Foundation is a national cross disability organization established in 1995 for the empowerment, uplifting and mainstreaming persons with disabilities. Based in Chennai, India, Ability Foundation is involved in pioneering activities, ranging from publishing and media, counselling and referral services, advocacy, and training and employment. “If you donate money for Ability Foundation, you will also be entitled to tax exemption from Government of India under rule 80C,” explains Amala Paul.
