While the Telugu film industry has accepted the final offer of reduction in the VPF fee besides a few other things from the digital service providers yesterday and announced the opening of movie theaters from today, Tamil Film Producers Council maintained that there’s no consensus achieved for their demands.
“Since our earnest demands are not met and theater owners are not supporting us, we have decided to continue the stoppage of new releases in Tamil Nadu until there’s any clear solution,” said a statement from TFPC.
