Sun Pictures, the makers of Thalapathy 65 were ready to take the next schedule of the film on floors, after they returned from Georgia and got done with the break. However, there seems to be a delay in the resumption of the shoot, as a report in TOI states that Thalapathy Vijay himself has asked the team to hold on due to the constantly increasing COVID-19 cases in the state.
Therefore, it is possible that the new schedule of Thalapathy 65 could take place only in June, once the restrictions are lifted and things return to normal.
