Netflix to produce Baahubali prequel as a three-season series
Streaming giant Netflix is all set to produce the prequel to Baahubali as a three-season series. Titled The Rise of Sivagami, the pre-production work for the project has already reportedly started.
The series will be jointly directed by SS Rajamouli and Deva Katta, who is currently busy with the Hindi version of Prasthanam, starring Sanjay Dutt. Netflix is planning to rope in artists from across industries, including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, to make the series a pan-India phenomenon.
