Netflix acquires award-winning film Kanavu Vaariyam

Netflix has acquired the award-winning drama Kanavu Vaaariyam produced by DCKAP Cinemas and distributed by Warner Bros Pictures. The movie was directed by debutant Arun Chidambaram.

“Very few Tamil films get picked by Netflix and we feel honored that ours is one among them. After receiving recognition and appreciation from various international film festivals and the Indian audience, we are happy that the audiences from over 190 countries can now enjoy our film on Netflix. This comes as big encouragement for the team, and for other aspiring filmmakers,” said Arun in an official statement.
