Amara Kaaviyam left Nayanthara teary-eyed

Nayanthara hardly attends the special screenings of her own films. But the friendship she maintains with Arya has made the gorgeous damsel attend the private screening of Amarakaaviyam, directed by Jeeva Shankar of Naan fame. Produced by Arya, it has his brother Sathya and Mia George in lead roles. Nayanthara was deeply moved and left teary-eyed after watching the film.

“Nayanthara, who is known to be emotionally strong, was touched by the story. After the screening, she wept for a very long time. In fact, even after getting back home, she wept. Five days after the screening, she called me and said that she could not stop thinking about the film. This is a great compliment for me as making someone laugh and cry is the most difficult part of film making,” confirms director Jeeva Shankar to a daily. The film is all set for release on September 5.
